Chapter Five

JOSIE WASN’T SURE WHERE her inner bad girl had come from, but now that she’d given the vixen free rein, she had no intention of putting her away again.

Maybe it was her birthday, the fact she had her lifetime crush with her, or that she’d reached the limit of celibacy and couldn’t take any more, but this—with Cooper—was the hottest thing she’d ever done. Not a prude, but not usually so adventurous, Josie couldn’t remember the last time she’d taken charge in bed.

Or on the couch.

“You want to see me?” Cooper growled, his deep voice turning her on. Not that she’d turned off yet. Coming once, so hard, had taken the edge off. But she wanted more.

He ripped off his shirt and threw it to the floor, and she nodded, ecstatic to see more. The man was seriously built. He had little chest hair, but what he had brought attention to the solid pectorals and biceps that looked like golden steel. She could see the delineations in his abdominal muscles and that sexy sculpt by his waistline.

“Damn, Cooper. You’re huge.”

“And getting bigger while you watch me,” he muttered. “You sure you want this?”

She stared at the amazingly large erection straining his jeans.

“Oh yeah. But once you show me what I want to see, you stay right there and don’t move. I’m getting a hell of a show for my birthday.”

He groaned and stood on his knees to unbutton his fly. One measured button at a time. His corded abs flexed, his arms and chest rippled, and his breathing grew heavier as he teased at exposing more flesh. The trail of hair down his chest feathered down his belly and disappeared under his jeans. The man was torturing her with his slow striptease.

“Hurry,” she prodded.

“I would if I could, but you’ve got me so hard I’m having to be careful not to go off.” He frowned and sounded embarrassed about the fact, but she couldn’t have been happier.

“Really? You’re ready to come because of me?”

He swore several more times and pushed his jeans apart, then slid down his underwear, a sexy pair of black boxer briefs, and revealed true beauty.

Cooper Talbot had a huge dick. Thick and long and wet. He hadn’t been kidding about being excited, and his desire recharged hers, no question.

“Just...wow.”

He flushed, and his eyes narrowed. “You ready to come again?”

“I will if you will.”

He blew out a breath. “Josie, you little tease, I don’t want to come. I want you to come.”

“You don’t want to come? Really? Because it looks like you do.” And she wanted a taste of him, a long slow lick to see if she could make him lose his mind. A surprise, because Josie didn’t do unprotected sex, not with men she’d just started dating.

“Shit yeah, I do. I’m not crazy. I meant that this is supposed to be for you, not about me getting off. I promised I’d keep my clothes on,” he said, sounding as if he was reminding himself more than her.
